Made by Archetonic for a couple in Mexico City, this contemporary apartment embraces originality and flexibility. The project helps make the most of its place in a developing with a transparent facade and unobstructed views of the neighboring gardens add fresh vibes to the living places. But what genuinely caught our eye was the way the architects creatively divided a big open area into 3 practical zones with out traditional walls.
The single-level home accommodates a hallway, lounge area, dining area, kitchen, Tv space, and 3 bedrooms—but they’re not separated by walls. As an alternative, customized-designed cabinets in wood mixed with black steel enable light and views to pass by way of, even as it demarcates the end of the lounge and the beginning of the dining room.
Other inspiring aspects of the layout scheme incorporate a huge 8-man or woman dining table, a movable ladder for access to the upper shelves and a hammock, which adds a playful come to feel to the Tv region.
What are your thoughts on the layout of this Mexico City apartment?
