This dynamic restaurant, inspired by a traditional Italian trattoria, opened not too long ago in a purchasing center in Lviv, Ukraine. Finished by YOD Design and style Studio, Tartufo Trattoria invites guests to relax and appreciate a taste of authentic Italian fare.
“We determined to move away from the classical perception of Lviv, and used only supplies strongly linked to the city’s spirit,” the architects mentioned. “Brass, white marble and oak seem to have a contemporary twist — without decorative carving, monograms or facets.”
The restaurant area is divided into 3 components: the main hall with an open kitchen and bar, a lobby region in the foods court, and a seasonal terrace overlooking the city.
Light colours, brass and wood tones create a cozy, welcoming ambiance. Intriguing “spaghetti lamps,” designed by designer Andrey Galushka from oak veneer, descend from the large concrete ceiling for an authentic and playful touch.
“The highlight of the establishment is the Stefano Ferrara wood-burning stove created of stone, in which genuine Italian pizza is baked,” the architects explained. What are your ideas on the layout of this Italian trattoria? [Photography by Andrey Bezuglov]
