Shiny Red Home Nestled inside a Norwegian Lake Valley

Red House

Jarmund/Vigsnæs Architects (JVA) finished Red Home in a wooded river area outside of Oslo, using a idea and colour that strongly stand out within this natural establishing. The house lies perpendicularly towards the river in order to accentuate the particular slope from the land plus minimize impeding views for neighbors in the riverbank.

Living area is separated between 2 floors with all the majority of action occurring around the second flooring. This region was designed in order to frame sights of the broad river area to the south. Huge glass home windows run across the size of the second ground to connect interior living with the particular scenery outdoors.

In comparison, the lower ground with children’s bedrooms is usually oriented northern toward the various trees in this field. Long home windows are used right here on the opposing side of the home to pull focus on the woods outdoors.

A brilliant red outside adds to the dynamism of JVA’s double alignment concept. They will explain it “ demonstrates the character of the customer. ” [Photography and information courtesy of Jarmund/Vigsnæs Architects].
