Young Parisian designer Alice Vincent started with the idea of a pillow and turned it into a trio of shapes and colors that came to be known as Le Séduisant. The seductive chair (séduisant means seductive in French) has a contemporary elegance to its smooth, detailed lines.
The chair was imagined by Vincent, a design student at the École Bleue Paris, as her graduation project. Working in collaboration with Selaneuf upholstery, Vincent grew the idea from a play on pillows to a fascinatingly elegant design.
Presented at Paris Design Week, the seductive chair, spotted on Blog Esprit Design, is curved just the right way to catch the eye. Its elegant shape and mix of colors will surely draw attention. Can you imagine a piece of furniture you’;d like to see go from an idea to reality?
