This modernist house by Flávio de Carvalho has so many textures and colors both rough and refined. In these images the home is being used as an essay or dialogue. The interiors are quite diverse and eclectic. I like the mix of styles, the diversity adds an almost makes for a beautiful confusion of sorts. The first room is fantastic with the wood wall and a bright reddish pink in the niches.
The building served as the setting for the eclectic environments editorial Cult of Diversity, which publishes Vogue House in its August issue , where even extracted the magazine cover. With this, we honor this visionary in the year we are completing 4 decades of his death.
