Designed by Erik G. L’Heureux AIA, a designer working with the interior design firm Pencil Office, in the year 2015, this house covers a ground area of 233 square meters distributed in several levels.
This project is located in Singapore, a city-state in Southeast Asia. Founded as a British trading colony in 1819, since its independence it has become one of the world’s most prosperous countries. It is a global financial center with a tropical climate and a multicultural population.
The structure is surrounded by lush green gardens with tall trees that provide it with shade and privacy.
In its interior, we can see beautiful spaces with a modern décor in which wood has been used, giving it warmth. These are comfortable spaces, pleasant and full of natural light.
The modern kitchen, in wood and white, is small but functional and done with beautiful simple lines.
On the upper level is the painting studio. Bathed by the natural light that enters through the skylight, it is a bright and perfect space to perform painting tasks.
In the evening, the garden becomes the perfect place to spend time with family and friends, or to relax after a hard day’s end, taking a little rest before going to bed.
