Within an upgraded multifunctional space in Timisoara’s centre, the promising first Romanian IT and creative-digital professionals club invites its exclusive members to enjoy both professional and leisure activities in a playful atmosphere. This exclusive IT club in Romania – the Alt Club – is based on „members only” access. Lucky members and their guests have access to “a study room, a bar area, a movie theater and a game room, all equipped with state of the art technology, thus distancing itself from a classic co-working and ne2rking space for creative-digital professionals and also becoming a place of recreation and entertainment tailored to their profile, preferences and interests.”
This high-tech leisure/work collection of spaces is located in one of Timisoara’;s beautiful historic buildings. We can see pieces of the old design throughout, from the curved arches to the way the space is naturally lit through elegant windows.
The first members-only club exclusively for IT and creative-digital professionals is a brainchild of the same creative mastermind that imagined X3 Studios and also the concept behind [e-spres-oh], an IT office capturing the essence of coffee – Ștefan Szakal. He said that “I am extremely content that we managed to create a friendly environment for the creative – digital professionals and I believe that, in this way, they have the chance of getting to know each other better and, why not, build common projects”.
Counting over 100 members, from Timișoara but also from other Romanian cities, the Alt Club’;s new members must hold a recommendation from at least 2 existing members. Even then, Alt Club says that “the recommendation only brings up membership, it does not guarantee it.”But at least it can be be rented by non-members for private events and that encourages more people to see the creatively designed space. And when you share this post, more people will see how much fun lies in the courageous creativity Romanians exemplify.
Another particular element that the club brings is the constant organizing and hosting of professional and entertaining events for the members, corresponding to their personal and professional development needs. “I am extremely content that we managed to create a friendly environment for the creative – digital professionals and I believe that, in this way, they have the chance of getting to know each other better and, why not, build common projects”, Ștefan Szakal, founder of Alt Club, declared.
