Set in the woods about 3 hours west of London, the Yurt Retreat provides simple, quaint lodging to guests seeking to capitalize on the regions’; abundant outside and wildlife adventures. And while we’;ve witnessed numerous stunning glamping sites right here at Curbed Ski (and even a tipi!), we’;ve never noticed a single in the shape of a birdhouse. Newly constructed in 2015 and costing about £100 per night, the Bird Property clocks in at a tiny 322 square feet but offers loads of charm on stilts. Clad in cedar and sporting a beautiful round window, the 2-man or woman lodging characteristics a huge deck, vaulted ceilings, a lot of light, and a comfy studio with outfitted kitchen. Reclaimed wood, a handmade dining table, and a comparatively spacious bathroom makes this the most wonderful tiny birdhouse we’;ve ever encountered.
